Payment management module upgraded

Dear seller,

We are pleased to announce that the payment management function of the Vendor Center has been newly upgraded!

New features:

  • Support for independently choosing payment methods for different countries (local currency payment via Bank Transfer / US dollar payment via Payoneer Integration)
  • Support for adding multiple payment accounts; sellers can add new payment accounts or switch the default payment method at any time
  • Real-time tracking of the review status of payment methods

Path: Log in Vendor Center > Profile >Payment Information

Payment Account Settings Instructions:

  • If you haven’t added a payment method yet, please log in to the Vendor Center to set it up. For specific step-by-step guidance, you can check the Jumia Seller University:

Seller Knowledge Base > Financial Management > Payment Methods > Local Currency Payment.

  • If you have successfully bound a local currency account or a Payoneer account, your original account information has been migrated to the Vendor Center. We strongly recommend that you log in to the backend to recheck the payment account information for each country. If there is no need for changes, please do not edit the account information at will to avoid triggering a re-verification which may cause delays in payment.
  • Rejection Reasons:
    • Please rename the attachment. Only Latin alphabet characters are allowed.
    • Document not valid/readable.
    • Document password encrypted. Remove password.
    • Handwritten documents are not accepted.
    • Cheques are not accepted.
    • Invalid/Closed bank account/RIB/IBAN/Nuban
    • Missing bank stamp.
    • Missing bank account number/RIB/IBAN/Nuban
    • Missing bank name
    • Missing phone number
    • Missing beneficiary name
    • Missing business registration number
    • Missing sort code/routing code/bank code
    • Remove spaces from RIB/IBAN/bank account number
    • Wrong bank account number/RIB/IBAN/Nuban
    • Wrong beneficiary name. No special characters allowed
    • Wrong business registration number
    • Wrong bank name
    • Wrong branch code
    • Wrong phone number
    • Wrong sort code/routing code/bank code

This function upgrade is an important measure for us to continuously optimize the seller experience. We will continue to work hard to help you manage the payment collection process more efficiently and facilitate the steady growth of your business.
